GRILLED GARLIC VENISON BURGER

Ingredients:

2 heads of garlic, with a little of the tops cut off
olive oil
2 lbs ground venison
1 egg
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
6 kaiser rolls or hamburger buns, split

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to  350F. Rub top of the garlic heads with oil. Place in a small casserole dish or wrap loosely with foil, leaving the top open. Bake for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

2. Preheat the grill for about 20 minutes. The grill should be hot enough that you cannot hold your hand over it for more than 3-4 seconds.

3. When the garlic heads are cool, squeeze the garlic from the skins and place the cloves in a bowl and mix them with the remaining ingredients. Form patties loosely. Coat lightly with oil before placing them on the grill.

4. Grill the burgers for about  4-5 minutes per side. Toast the buns lightly on a cooler section of the grill. Serve with mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, or other accompaniments.
